Izzy Foreal performs semi-acoustically with Shaz & Karl Mullan, whose acoustified contemporary covers and traditional tunes augment Izzy's '21st-century skiffle' perfectly.
Izzy Foreal - bassist, vocalist, kazooist and general comedic entertainer - has been performing in Australia for a significant number of years. His present penchant is for semi-acoustic performance in cafes and smaller rock venues, though he is perhaps most infamous as frontperson with Sydney-based comedy rock band The Zarsoff Brothers (from 1979, with occasional special appearances even today). He also played bass and shared front buffoonery in The 69ers, beginning in 1970, and finishing some time in the second half of the 1970s.
Karl (new zealand) & Sharon (Ireland) Mullan perform as ‘KSM’ in cafes and acoustic venues around the northern rivers area of New South Wales, and have appeared regularly at the Emporium Cafe’s monthly music café night in South Grafton with Izzy. Their acoustified renditions of contemporary and traditional tunes are a perfect compliment to izzy’s musical skullduggery, as a successful joint performance at the Ilnam Estate Winery in Carool (NSW) proved.
